Costs

All mediation and voluntary settlement work is on an hourly basis with some sliding scale work. Please inquire about your situation for a personlized rate quote.

Travel will be billed at a reduced rate, if at all.

A retainer is usually not requested at the beginning of most matters. All unearned fees promptly refunded.

The preparation of the Agreement and subsequent Judgment are estimated in advance. The average cost for both of these documents with accompanying forms is about $3500 to $5000.

Any work dividing Pension and Retirement interests after Judgment are referred to specialized firms that limit their practice to these matters.

Any fees in excess of any retainer will be billed and payment expected prior to any subsequent sessions.

Judge Taylor accepts credit cards and personal checks at the end of each session. Many clients split the cost equally or use joint funds for this process.

An estimate of hours and fees is made at the outset. Each session with Judge Taylor is independent so the parties are only obligated so long as they agree to continue to the next session. At any time one or both parties may exit mediation without cost.

The client controls the amount of the fees.
